Kin Pet Care — Terms of Service

1. Platform Services

Kin Pet Care provides technology services that allow pet owners and independent pet care providers (“Sitters”) to connect, communicate, schedule services, receive updates, and process payments.

Kin Pet Care is a third-party platform that facilitates connections between pet owners and independent sitters. We are not a pet care provider and do not employ Sitters. We are not responsible for the visits, services, conduct, qualifications, or outcomes of any Sitter.

2. User Accounts

• Users must provide accurate information when creating an account.
• Users are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of their login credentials.
• Users must be at least 18 years old to create an account.

3. Pet Owner Responsibilities

Pet owners agree to provide accurate information regarding:

• Pet health conditions
• Behavioral concerns
• Vaccination status
• Emergency contacts
• Veterinary information

Pet owners acknowledge that failure to provide accurate information may affect the safety and quality of services.

4. Sitter Responsibilities

Sitters are solely responsible for the services they provide. Sitters agree to:

• Maintain accurate profiles
• Follow applicable laws
• Provide truthful qualifications and experience
• Treat pets humanely and responsibly

5. Payments and Refunds

Payments processed through the platform are subject to applicable fees.

Kin Pet Care may deduct platform service fees before releasing funds to Sitters.

All subscription fees are non-refundable. Trials may be cancelled before the trial period ends to avoid charges. Service fees and processed payments are non-refundable except where required by law.

6. Cancellation Policy

Pet owners and Sitters may cancel services according to the cancellation terms displayed at the time of booking. Repeated cancellations may result in account restrictions.

7. Limitation of Liability

Kin Pet Care provides a communication and booking platform only. As a third-party platform, we do not perform pet care services ourselves and have no control over the actions, conduct, or services provided by independent Sitters.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Kin Pet Care shall not be liable for:

• Injuries to pets occurring before, during, or after visits
• Injuries to users or third parties
• Property damage of any kind
• Acts, omissions, negligence, or misconduct of any Sitter
• Quality, reliability, or outcome of any services booked through the platform
• Lost profits, lost data, or business interruption
• Indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages

Any disputes regarding services rendered are between the pet owner and the Sitter directly. Kin Pet Care may, but is not obligated to, assist in facilitating communication between parties.

8. Account Suspension

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that:

• Violate these Terms
• Engage in fraudulent activity
• Create safety concerns
• Abuse the platform

9. Modifications

We may modify these Terms at any time. Continued use of the platform constitutes acceptance of updated Terms.
